Shipping & Delivery Policy

This policy explains how we deliver products purchased through www.expertwholesalesupplies.com.au.


1. Delivery Area

We deliver throughout South-East Queensland, within the following boundaries:

  • North — to the Sunshine Coast
  • South — to Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast
  • West — to Ipswich
  • East — to the coastline

If you are located outside this region and wish to order, please contact us on 1300 853 997 or orders@expertwholesalesupplies.com.au for a freight quote before placing your order.


2. Order Processing & Dispatch

Orders are processed Monday to Friday during business hours, excluding public holidays.

  • Orders received before 12:00pm on a business day are typically dispatched the following business day.
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed the next business day.
  • A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has been dispatched.

While we make every effort to dispatch promptly, in some cases dispatch may be delayed due to stock checks, supplier lead times, or other factors. We will contact you if a meaningful delay is expected.


3. Estimated Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times once dispatched, within our service area:

  • Brisbane metro: 1–2 business days
  • Gold Coast / Sunshine Coast / Ipswich: 2–3 business days

These timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. Actual delivery times may vary depending on courier capacity, weather, access to the delivery location, and other factors outside our direct control.


4. Shipping Costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the items in your order, their weight and dimensions, and your delivery address. The total shipping cost is displayed before you complete payment.

Bulky and heavy goods — particularly ducted systems, outdoor condensers, and 3-phase units — attract higher freight charges due to their size and weight.


5. Bulky & Heavy Goods

Most air-conditioning equipment we sell is classified as bulky and/or heavy freight. Please note:

  • Delivery is kerbside only unless an alternative arrangement has been confirmed in writing.
  • It is the customer's responsibility to arrange assistance to move the goods from the kerbside into their property.
  • A signature may be required on delivery.
  • Some delivery vehicles cannot access narrow driveways, steep access, or unsealed roads. If access is restricted at your delivery address, please advise us before placing your order.

6. Installation Is Not Included

Installation is not included in any product price unless explicitly stated on the product listing.

We are a supply-only retailer. All installation must be performed by a licensed refrigeration / air-conditioning installer. Installation by an unlicensed person may:

  • void your manufacturer warranty,
  • breach Australian refrigerant-handling laws (ARCtick licensing requirements), and
  • create safety risks.

7. Inspection on Delivery

We recommend you inspect your goods on arrival. If you notice any visible damage to the packaging or the product:

  1. Note the damage on the courier's proof-of-delivery before signing where possible.
  2. Take photographs of the packaging and any visible damage.
  3. Contact us within 5 business days at orders@expertwholesalesupplies.com.au with photos and your order number.

Prompt reporting helps us resolve courier claims efficiently and ensures your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and our Refund Policy are fully preserved. See our Refund Policy for full details on faulty, damaged, or incorrect goods.


8. Failed Deliveries

A delivery may fail if:

  • no-one is available to receive the goods at a delivery requiring a signature,
  • access is restricted at the delivery address,
  • the address provided is incorrect or incomplete.

In these cases the courier may return the goods to depot or attempt redelivery. Redelivery fees may apply and will be passed on to the customer.

If you need to change a delivery address after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee address changes once goods have been dispatched.


9. Authority to Leave

If you wish for goods to be left at the delivery address without a signature, you must provide written authority to leave at the time of order or via email before dispatch. Where authority to leave is provided, we are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring after the goods have been delivered to the address.


10. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).

If goods you receive are damaged, faulty, not of acceptable quality, or different from those described, you may be entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund, and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
